Lakme Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan Oil - Smooth Marsala

Today I am going to review my new lipstick from Lakme, Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan Oil. Lakme has launched their Argan oil range of cosmetics and skin care products. As winters are approaching, I have started to gather all products specially designed for dry skin beauties like me.

After seeing this range, I have picked few products from this range, Lakme Absolute Argan oil radiance oil in cream and Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan Oil in shade, Smooth Marsala.

I am going to share my experience with the lipstick. It is deep berry wine shade, will look beautiful on all Indian skin tones.

I love the packaging. It is classy gold and sleek. It weighs about 2 gm and is priced at Rs. 800.

Since it is a matte lipstick, I have exfoliated and moisturized my lips before using this lipstick. But I must say the application was nightmare. It wouldn't get applied smoothly, kind of patchy.

Very drying on lips. This one is worst of all the lipsticks I own. I even liked Lakme 9 to 5 and Lakme enrich matte collection lipstick better than this.

This lipstick is a total no. I have tried using it twice and since it was so drying, now it is just lying there with my other lipsticks.

Will I repurchase it?  No, never.
Will I recommend it? No
